Molecular Engineering Research Competition

In our molecular engineering competition, our 50+ applicants explored a vast variety of biomedical topics. The winners of this competition were published in the International Youth Scientist Journal.

Camp Biomed 2023

In this 5-week summer camp, participants gain the opportunity to conduct virtual labs, construct lab reports and case studies, network with various nonprofits and medical organizations, and create a capstone project. With over 150 students and 30 nonprofits, Camp Biomed 2023 was one of the largest STEM networking events held virtually for youth.

How Neurobiology and SDGs Align

The founder of A World We Once Knew, Aryana Wadhwani, spoke on the overlap between neurobiology and the UN's sustainable development goals. Through difficult questionnaires, the attendees won prizes.

Medical Jeopardy

With a very small group, the representative of Medicine Informatics hosted a Medical Jeopardy with BioMedizone! Winners of the Jeopardy game won stickers as prizes.

Neurosurgery and Neuroscience Panels

In a series panel, BioMedizone invited Champion Lumumba, an aspiring neurosurgeon, to speak for a Surgery Panel. After this panel, BioMedizone invited Morgan P. and Anna M., both neuroscience professionals aiming for their neuroscience degree, to speak about their experience.

In this event, BioMedizone partnered with Med Dreamers in order to talk about Initiative and Passion Projects and ways high school students can add that to their resumes to make their portfolios impressive to college admissions officers
